Idris Elba Back As Heimdal For Thor 2

Fresh off his Golden Globe win for the BBC series Luther, Idris Elba confirmed that he will return for Thor 2.

‘Thor 2? for sure,” he told MTV News on the Globes red carpet. ” ‘Avengers,’ we’re not sure about, but ‘Thor 2? we’re going at it again.”

It’s really great to hear that he’ll be back for the sequel.  He was easily the most underused character in the first film and I think most people agree.  I’m sure we’ll see him back with his character playing a much larger role this time around.
