Iron Man 2 on DVD & Blu-Ray September 28th
Looks like Paramount Home Entertainment will be releasing Iron Man 2 on September 28th of this year, just in time for the holidays. The Blu-Ray will come in a 3 disc set which includes 2 Blu-Ray discs and a normal DVD. Blu-Ray Disc 1 has the movie itself along with commentary and a few special features, Blu-Ray disc 2 contains the rest of the special features. Disc 3 is a normal DVD and contains the movie and a digital copy of the movie. I love the fact that studios are starting to package the normal DVD copy with the blu-ray, it makes it much easier to bring in the car or on a trip when you don’t have a portable Blu-Ray player.
Along with the Blu-Ray version there will also be a 2 Disc DVD version, disc 1 will contain the movie and disc 2 will contain special features (although not quite as many as the Blu-Ray version). And of course, for those that don’t need the special features, you’ll also be able to pick up a single disc version of just the movie w/ commentary track.
So there should be a version for everyone when Iron Man 2 hits the shelves on September 28th. And if you want more info on the release click through the jump to see the rest of the press release courtesy of superherohype.com
