Who would you like to see as the Wasp?

With fans waiting for the official announcements on the castings of Dum Dum Dugan and Hawkeye, the Avengers cast are getting closer to complete. We’ve already discussed some possibilities for Henry Pym (Ant-Man) in the past so we decided it was time to talk about the lovely Janet van Dyne, aka the Wasp. Eva Longoria-Parker has been rumored to be in talks with Marvel Studios for the role, and has been supposedly meeting with them for over a year. Is she still the front runner for the role? Who would you like to see?

Ugh. Eva Longoria? No thanks. I’d prefer an Asian Wasp if they want to use a different version of Wasp to change up the ethnicity of some team members.

It depends on what her role is. If she is “in the background” storywise then I would like to see an actress who isn’t quite as famous get the role. That way she wouldn’t take away from what is actually going on in the movie. On the other hand, if the Wasp plays a more legitimate role in the movie then I would love to see Eva Longoria in the role.

I’m still hoping for Ms. Marvel. Carol Danvers has to be in this movie!!

I personally feel that Marvel will lean more on their ‘proven’ characters and have Cap, Iron Man and Thor carry most of the plot. Who knows though. Either way, my vote is for Minka Kelly.

Well if Joss Whedon is directing I would definitely not mind seeing Morena Baccarin take the part. She already has the right haircut from her role in V.
