Hugo Weaving has officially signed on play Johann Schmidt / The Red Skull in The First Avenger: Captain America. It’s been rumored for a while that he would be taking on this role considering his recent appearance in Joe Johnston’s The Wolfman. Weaving rounds out a great cast that already has Chris Evans as our hero Steve Rogers / Captain America.
