The Avengers Directed By Joss Whedon…Almost Official

Deadline Hollywood is reporting that Joss Whedon is in final negotiations to direct The Avengers.  This was rumored last week, but I didn’t necessarily think it was going to happen so I didn’t post anything about it.  I’m posting it now, because it seems legit and is a very big deal if true.  So lets keep our fingers crossed on this one since it could hopefully give Whedon the recognition from main stream audiences he hasn’t been able to achieve yet.
