Sir Anthony Hopkins has been tapped to play Odin in the upcoming Thor movie from Marvel Studios. Odin is the father of Thor and Loki. I'm honestly surprised by the big names are being attached to the Thor movie, it seems like an unlikely group to be rallying around a comic book movie. Natalie Portman is also involved in the flick and is set to play Jane Foster. I don't know how Marvel is attracting these people, but good for them. Now we'll just have to wait and see how it all comes together.
