Thor Casting Update

Before Chris Hemsworth snagged the title role in Thor, it was rumored that True Blood’s Alexander Skarsgard was up for the part as well.  Obviously, that didn’t pan out and Hemsworth landed the gig.  It appears now that Alexander wasn’t the only person in his family interested in the film as his dad, Stellan Skarsgard, has joined the cast.  What character he’ll be playing has yet to be revealed, but this is a good addition to an already stellar cast.  He seems to be popping up in more and more big pictures.  From Good Will Hunting to Pirates of the Caribbean, he’s put together quite the resume.  We’ll make sure to let you know who he’s playing as soon as that info is released.  It’s great to get some more news out to you folks.  Hopefully more is on the way.
