Odin Has Been Cast In Branagh’s Thor?

Heroes, News, Thor

English actor Brian Blessed has reportedly been cast as Odin, the father of Greek god Thor, in Kenneth Branagh’s adaptation of the popular comic.  I honestly don’t know much about him, but he’s got quite the resume.  He looks to have done alot of voice over work in both film and video games.  Also, he really seems to fit the part visually.  What do you guys think?

    Thor isn’t a greek god?

  2. Tommarto Says:

Oops! Thor is a Norse god (i.e. from Norwegian legend), and Brian Blessed is the most qualified man on earth to play his father, Odin, god of gods. To see why, check out the Flash Gordon movie - “Dive, my brave Hawkmen, DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIVVVVE!!!!!!!”
