Incredible Hulk 2? Not Any Time Soon

If you were looking forward to seeing a sequel to the Edward Norton reboot of The Incredible Hulk you may be waiting for a little while. The guys over at SCI FI Wire and io9.com got the scoop on what the future holds for The Incredible Hulk movies.

According to SCI FI Wire, Tim Roth is signed on for another 2 “Hulk” movies as The Abomination, but he mentions that they still have to decide if they are doing 1 more, let alone 2 more. SCI FI also says that a script is currently in the works which is where io9.com thinks they may be wrong. According to io9 and a rep from Marvel Studios, this is the statement they got/made.

Of course Marvel is always open to looking at ways to work with The Incredible Hulk, but there is currently no script in development.

So take it as you may, but it looks like The Incredible Hulk may not get another movie of his own in the near future. This obviously doesn’t mean that Hulk will not appear in The Avengers Movie that comes out in a couple years, but it’s probably unlikely that we will see anything as far as a solo project goes until after this latest wave of Marvel Studios movies.
