Tim Blake Nelson Eager To Be The Leader

After portraying Dr. Samuel Sterns in this past summer’s The Incredible Hulk, Tim Blake Nelson says that he would love to return as the inevitable Leader.  For those of you who still haven’t seen the movie, I won’t spoil anything but I think you can assume what happened.  Apparently he signed on for 3 Hulk movies, so his return is likely if they move forward with a sequel.  

“I’m eager to do ‘Hulk 2’ if they make it,” he said. “I already did [research into The Leader] when I was doing [Dr. Samuel] Sterns, because I felt that it would be helpful to lay in stuff as Sterns for what The Leader would be.”

Tim Blake Nelson is great in front of and behind the camera so I do hope they make this sequel.  I’m not afraid to say that I really liked the first movie and see alot of potential in the franchise if all the right people return.  The Abomination story was good but I think the design of the creature turned some people off.  If they can nail the tone and look of The Leader, we could have an even better Hulk movie.
