Meet The Captain America Director

Joe Johnston has been tapped to direct one of Marvel’s upcoming superhero movies, Captain America. Johnston is famous for having directed movies like October Sky, Honey I Shrunk The Kids, Jumanji, Hidalgo and the upcoming Wolf Man, as well as designing the vehicles in the Star Wars movies and storyboards for Raiders of The Lost Ark. There are still no writers or actors attached to First Avenger: Captain America, but it looks like things are continuing to move forward so we should see more names attached soon.

First Avenger: Captain America is slated for release on May 6, 2011
