More on Ant-Man From Edgar Wright
Kevin had posted a small interview with Edgar Wright a few weeks back regarding his role and the status of the Ant-Man movie, and now I bring you a little more news (in the form of an interview). Super Hero Hype got the chance to sit down with Edgar while he was making his rounds promoting Spaced, which just came to DVD this week (I’ve never seen it but I’ve heard amazing things). He talks about how he’s already done with a draft of the script and that the studio really wants to move forward with the movie, but he will be taking on his other film, “Scott Pilgrim”, before “Ant-Man”. So it looks like we’ll have to wait a little bit, which is fine, since The Avengers movies aren’t supposed to come out for another few years. Speaking of The Avengers and how Ant-Man will fit in, Edgar isn’t quite sure yet. He says that Ant-Man will probably be more of it’s own story and he’s not sure how it’s going to fit in with what Marvel is doing with The Avengers movie, if it fits in at all. So while that may not sound too good, at least we’ll get to see Ant-Man on the big screen at some point, and maybe even some of his random enemies…
