Favreau + Iron Man 2 = Probably Gonna Happen

After the announcement of Marvel’s 2011 slate, it didn’t appear as if the comic powerhouse and Jon Favreau were gonna work out a deal for him to direct the sequel to the extremely successful Iron Man 2. Apparently that’s not the case anymore. It seems they may be on the verge of a deal for him to fill the director’s chair once again, as well as having some involvement in both the Captain America and Avengers film.
